Jamie Oliver, Boy Chef, Goes To A Bar

Jamie Oliver, Britain’s #1 stud muffin under the age of twelve (it’s true, we can’t resist his boyish charms), is the star of a forthcoming Food Network show revolving around the element of (surprise, surprise) surprise, the fundamental basis of all reality food TV shows. Oliver shows up at a bar, takes a seat, and—surprise!—whips out a secret ingredient!—ohmygoodnessitshibiscustea! The bartender then whips up three drinks using the secret ingredient and shows off his hunky cocktail skills. There’s no competition or Mixologist From The Challenger’s side; just good old-timey drink making. The Life Vicarious, which witnessed the Oliver / hibiscus tea incident with its own unsuspecting, just-hanging-out-at-Flatiron-Lounge eyes, believes that the bartender was genuinely caught unawares when ambushed by the Brit. This, the blog hypothesizes, might just be able to set the new show apart from all the rest.
