The Feedbag Launches With A Swanky Soiree

The Feedbag, launching as it does with gleefully high expectations, announced its existence to the world last night with an A-list at Elettaria, Akthar Nawab’s very fine restaurant on West 8th Street. Nawab worked up a brilliant menu of veal tongue, fried quail, salt cod fritters, and other high-minded grub while Mumm de Cramant champagne poured away. Not to put too fine a point on it, but everyone had a high old time. Here are some pictures to convey the merriment. But no camera could really capture the magic.
Restaurateur and playboy John McDonald lays down his rap to champagne rep Liz White.
Chef Geoffrey Zakarian and publicist supreme Becca Parish face the camera.
While everyone else has a good time, Akhar Nawab keeps his head down and his eye on his quails and crabs.

I guess now we know that Josh Ozersky and Zak Pelaccio aren’t the same person.
PS — Looking good Hannah.
